CFS Release 2020-12-01 (v4.7.8)

CFS Release 2020-12-01 (v4.7.8)

Here's a summary of the things we've been working on in the last few weeks

We're going to be rolling out the latest version of CFS today, should you have any questions about these new features or how bug fixes have been implemented please contact daniel@durell.co.uk, or create a support ticket at support.durell.co.uk.

New feature - resumable cancellations
We have been listening to your feedback in relation to the cancellation process, and have introduced a new mechanism which allows cancellations to be resumed/retried when they fail, as well as extra notifications via email for greater transparency. Failed cancellations can be resumed on the admin dashboard policy card menu and will be displayed on the transactions report (a guide for that is available here: https://cfs.durell.co.uk/support/page/utilising-transactions-report/).

2020-12-01 (v4.7.8)

  • Major - you can now allow advisers to upload documents to quotes as part of the quotation process. More information on this development and it's usage can be found here: https://cfs.durell.co.uk/support/page/allowing-adviser-quote-document-upload/ - if you have any questions regarding this please contact daniel@durell.co.uk
  • Major - the confirmation page has been improved to show more information for finance-based sales. The new section will now display the upfront deposit payment along with ongoing payment amounts and collection dates.
  • You can now opt to not refund addons at cancellation by default. The new setting "No rebate at cancellation" has been added to the addon settings. This setting applies to new purchases only, and will default the ticks on the cancellation preview dialog to suit, so you can always override as needed before proceeding with the cancellation.
  • The "Create renewal invite" options on policy cards in the admin dashboard is now more contextual based on the renewal settings defined and policy period.
  • The automated renewal invite & takeup routine will now automatically warn you when processing the procedure with a profile with access right to continue on refer/decline - having these options will mutate the renewal insurer selection, so it's advised to use a profile without these permissions.
  • Accounts postings for purchase orders are no longer duplicated when using the AG posting method with multiple lead pay-aways.
  • The quoted income value on the renewal dashboard widget is now calculated correctly for CFS based renewal quotes.
  • The renewal dashboard quilt control now works with renewals invited by CFS for all categories (i.e. insurer/product/lead/adviser).
  • When a policy is queried via the admin dashboard and displayed within a modal, the window will now correctly scroll to show all content after documents are loaded.
  • After editing the pre-quote fields on the results page, you are no longer taken back to the insurer selection panel when your scheme isn't set up to show the cheapest insurer.
  • IPTPercent merge field for documents is now correct after the application of a Brokerage or Broker Discount ARF override.
  • A nicer message is now shown when the renewal automation bulk invite tool doesn't find any invites within the specified period.
  • The validation warning message has been improved to update based on answered questions.
  • Downloading quotes from the results page no longer results in the creation of multiple clients when certain automatic prospect criteria aren't met.

You will see these new changes available on the live site from around 1PM. If you host CFS on your own AWS instance changes will be active a little later, in line with usual release timeframes. Should you wish to not receive the update for your instance please notify us before 12pm.

Regards,
The CFS Team
