Cancellations


Once Cancellations have been activated via the Console, it’s now possible (with the correct permissions) to carry out a cancellation online.


Cancellation via the Admin Dashboard

  1. Login in to CFS
  2. Click on the “Hamburger” icon

  1. Click on “Admin








  1. Locate the policy in question via a search or from the event feed
  2. Click on the “three dots







  1. Select “Cancel Policy


Reason

  1. A reason for cancellation can be selected from here:


Dates

  1. If all permissions are granted, you’ll see be able to select the “Take-up Date” and “Effective Date” of the cancellation


Overrides

  1. This section will allow you to apply separately both “Fee”, “Premium”, “Commission Percentage” & “IPT Percentage” overrides


Preview

Shows a preview of the calculated cancellation


  1. Items including addons can be removed under the “Initial Purchase” heading
  2. The cover period up to cancellation “Effective Date” is shown under “Cover Period
  3. Cost of cover is shown under “Cover Cost
  4. Amount paid up to cancellation shown under “Paid
  5. Amount refunded from already paid shown under “Refund
  6. Cancellation fee shown under “Policy Fee
  7. Insurer fee shown under “Insurer Fee
  8. Total amount refunded shown under “Total Refunded”


Zero refund

  1. No refund can be issued manually by clicking “Proceed with Zero Refund”
