CFS Release 2021-05-18 (v4.8.9)

CFS Release 2021-05-18 (v4.8.9)

Here's a summary of the things we've been working on in the last few weeks

We're going to be rolling out the latest version of CFS today, should you have any questions about these new features or how bug fixes have been implemented please contact daniel@durell.co.uk, or create a support ticket at supportdesk.durell.co.uk.

2021-05-18 (v4.8.9)

  • Major - you can now allow your advisers / brokers to upload documents directly to policies in the Admin Dashboard. Enabled via the new token permission "General -> Upload policy docs" - when enabled displays a new option in the policy card menu allowing documents to be uploaded and attached directly to the policy.
  • Major - you can now define underwriting terms based on ABI code lists directly in the insurers' matrix, this allows you to, for example, specify acceptance criteria for wall construction type (e.g. Brick=ACCEPT, Paper=Decline, etc.), or you can define base rates for specified valuables - with the ability to use the underwriting term within a trigger or premium output. These terms also export to a "flat" file, allowing them to be easily edited in any spreadsheet application when rates change, and be re-imported directly without the need to rekey.
  • Custom variables can now optionally be set based on the policy effective date, rather than todays date.
  • Accepted RTU quotes now correctly show the premium in emails & attached documentation when the premium is hidden, was previously incorrectly showing as POA.
  • Dates within the filename for EDI messaging now support custom formats, and you can add the transaction date.
  • FTP EDI drop locations now support SSL/TLS enabled FTP sites.
  • Dates within inline lists now handle null values.
  • DataLastSaved flag is now correctly set for API-driven quotes.
  • Added new claims schema - "TouringCaravan v1 May2021".
  • Logged transactions are now correct in CFS when using a downloaded quote as the policy at take-up (presuming a GPO is used in CFS).
  • Added a new DVLA lookup field which pulls basic vehicle data from the gov.uk lookup.
  • Added custom Travel tax rates & mapping to Durell back office.
  • Quick quote sections now display the premium next to the purchase button for easier visibility to the customer.

You will see these new changes available on the live site from around 1PM. If you host CFS on your own AWS instance changes will be active a little later, in line with usual release timeframes. Should you wish to not receive the update for your instance please notify us before 12pm.

Regards,
The CFS Team
