Here's a summary of the things we've been working on in the last few weeks

2021-03-09 (v4.8.4)

• Major - added a new billing report to the CFS front end reporting suite. This billing report exposes a brand new billing log for all CFS transacations and will allow you to see in real-time how much you can expect your CFS bill to be for the month (or previous months). NB: As this report exposes new data it's not possible at present to historic billing.
• Major - you can now display quotation documentation in it's own section of the results page, and can optionally group documents by "main policy", "broker documents" and documents for each addon. To enable the document section simply select the "Show documents in document section" option in the documents group of quote setup, then define the title for the main policy group under "Header for main policy group". You then define documents relating to the broker under the document editor, and link documents to addons in the addon settings in the matrix.
• Major - added new AmendQuote API endpoint, allowing existing quotes to be edited via the API rather than needing a new quote to be generated, see documentation here: http://cfs.durell.co.uk/api/#operation/amendQuote
• Major - document display options have been revamped for documents and we've added new privilege's options to allow you to show documents to advisers/super users only at various stages in the quote journey (question set / results / confirmation).
• It's now possible to link a renewal to a specific adviser (and/or lead) based on who the lead previously was - by expanding the "unlink at renewal" option in the lead editor to a selection of no, unlink; and "set to".
• Email templates can be setup to be automatically sent to the adviser/lead email address rather than the proposers email - we've added a "To" selector to each email template, this will default to "Email" and can be changed to "QuoteAdviserEmail" or "QuoteLeadEmail", allowing greater out-the-box flexibility for MGAs sending email correspondence.
• Added new Insurer Fee at MTA additional rating factor.
• The titles of addons are now shown in bold on the quote results page to help them stand out.
• All ARF values can now be exported to documents using the $ARF_ prefix mergefields.
• Corrected cancellations on tax exempt policies.
• Broker discount and commission calculations have been corrected for MTAs following a broker discount ARF applied to gross at new business.
• Added date of birth field to Premium Credit loan request (requires mapping if your scheme permits).
• It's now possible to define the adviser, lead, user record & required policy reference using special field syntax in the API ProduceQuote endpoint.

You will see these new changes available on the live site from around 1PM. If you host CFS on your own AWS instance changes will be active a little later, in line with usual release timeframes. Should you wish to not receive the update for your instance please notify us before 12pm.
