Create and Post a Renewal

Create and Post a Renewal

  1. Begin by locating the policy which you would like to renew. Highlight it by clicking it once.

  1. Now click on the “Signpost” button near the top left and in the new window that appears, select “Renewal for current policy”

  1. Progress through the screens, inputting all available and required information for the renewal. The process is identical to entering the information for a new policy. Once you get to the premium screen, input all the desired values for the renewal, then click “Save” and then “Exit”.

  1. You will now see your Renewal row. Make sure it is highlighted and then click on the “Signpost” button. Scroll across on “General”, then again on “Renewals” and then click on “Take up…”

  1. You will be prompted to confirm the renewal you are taking up and what you would like to reset the Policy Reference and Policy Stage to. After this, another box will appear to confirm you would like to take up the renewal

  1. Now you will be returned to the policy screens, where you can progress through the remaining screens and post the renewal to the accounts, in the same way as you would a new policy. The renewal row will now disappear and the previous policy row will be updated with the details entered into the renewal.
