CFS Release 2021-06-01 (v4.9.0)
Here's a summary of the things we've
been working on in the last few weeks
We're going to be rolling out the latest
version of CFS today, should you have any questions about these new features or
how bug fixes have been implemented please contact daniel@durell.co.uk, or create a support
ticket at supportdesk.durell.co.uk.
2021-06-01 (v4.9.0)
- Major
- CFS now supports the upgraded
document storage mechanism coming in the next release of the Durell back
office.
- Major
- when cancelling a whole
policy which includes addons which have previously been removed via MTA
with a new cancellation effective date which is prior to that of the MTA
the system will automatically calculate and apply a refund to back-date
the partial addon cancellation.
- ARF field names in merge fields
have been corrected by removing the $ prefix from their field names - this
was causing issues with Word previously leading to the values not being
populated at document generation.
- You can now resend EDI messages
that are based on triggers.
- API clickthroughs using the
"Edit" link can now optionally open automatically
"unlocked" when using guaranteed quotes - simply tick the
"CT Unlock" option on the API key editor.
- Fixed bug where viewing a
purchased policy would result in the insurer selected being un-linked from
a policy which further lead to issues when trying to MTA.
- EDI filenames now contain end
date, and custom formats can be applied to all dates in the filename.
- You can now define different
formats for dates in the EDI message body.
- Account set overrides defined
at currency level are now correctly applied at posting.
- EDI messages for addon removal
MTAs now correctly include the policy value transaction rather than addon
(to match new business events) - addon breakdown values are still
available in the transactions output.
- Commission percentage overrides
applied at new business / renewal are now automatically applied (and
locked) at MTA.
- Custom variables displayed in
calculation notes now using the DP option defined.
- Shared filters no longer cause
issues when the user who shared the filter is deleted from the back office.
You will see these new changes available on the live site from around
1PM. If you host CFS on your own AWS instance changes will be active a little
later, in line with usual release timeframes. Should you wish to not receive
the update for your instance please notify us before 12pm.
Regards,
The CFS Team
