Updating Fund Prices

  1. In order to greatly reduce the chance of errors during price updates, please maintain the FinExpress data base first.
  2. With everyone signed out of Durell, press the Windows key and “R”. In the new box that appears, type the following command in and then click “OK”

"C:\imw-user\Maintain.exe C:\imw-data\finexpress.mdb (Or wherever you database is located, please contact Durell support for help)"


  1. Wait for the process to finish. Even if it says “Not responding”, it is working and will finish. A small box will appear, to tell you it is complete. Once complete, we can look at updating the prices.
  2. To update the prices…
  3. Copy the “FND” zip file from FinExpress, into the “Fund Prices” folder, within your IMW-Data folder. Right mouse click it and select to “Extract All”



  1. Once the files have extracted, log into Durell. Click on the “Setup” button and then on the “Fund prices and Graphs” option, on the right hand side.
  2. In the new window, click on the Signpost and then click on “Update Prices”



  1. The prices will now be updated, from the file you pasted into the “Fund Prices” folder.
