Using Memos in Durell
Using Memos in Durell
- Within the Durell Diary, it is possible to send Memos to other Durell users.
- To create a Memo, click on “Diary” from the Durell front screen
- Once the Diary opens, click on the “New” button, select “Add a memo entry” and click “OK”
- You will now see a Memo window. You can type what you would like to say in the “Memo or message” box. You can then give your memo a date and time and a priority, if applicable.
- Finally, you can choose to direct your Memo towards specific users by ticking required recipients from the list provided. Once you have finished your Memo and selected the recipients, click “Save”.
- After clicking ‘Save’, Durell will send your Memo to the selected recipients. Upon its receipt or whenever the Memo is timed for, a reminder will pop up on screen for the recipient
- A Memo line will also be added to their Diary display, in the Memo section
- If a Memo requires work, you can mark it as “Done”, once completed. To do this, either click the box to the left of the Memo line in the Memo section or open the Memo itself (by double clicking it) and click the box labelled “Done”
- Similarly, once you open one, you have the option to forward a Memo on or reply to the User who sent it to you. You can also change the date and priority level in the Memo, as if you had started a new one
