CFS Release 2020-12-15 (v4.7.9)
Here's a summary of the things we've
been working on in the last few weeks
We're going to be rolling out the latest
version of CFS today, should you have any questions about these new features or
how bug fixes have been implemented please contact daniel@durell.co.uk, or create a support
ticket at supportdesk.durell.co.uk.
Staffing & support for CFS over Christmas
It's been a tough year for everybody, with so much uncertainty and unease, but
the CFS team has continued to turn out fortnightly releases packed with new
features despite everything - so this year we've decided to do things a
little differently and give the team a more relaxed festive break by closing
the CFS office from midday on Christmas Eve until the 4th of January 2021. The
Durell support team will still be on hand to handle your queries, and the CFS
development team are still on hand for emergencies, but no further program
releases will be made this year.
The Durell support team have also been working hard to bring out a brand new
ticketing system which can be accessed here: https://supportdesk.durell.co.uk/
this new system features a wealth of handy articles for using Durell, and
allows much better tracking of tickets through to completion, you'll also find
a handy link to the CFS support site with similar articles to help answer some
common questions.
May we take this opportunity to thank you for your custom this year, and
wish you & yours a merry Christmas and very happy new year.
2020-12-15 (v4.7.9)
- Major
- added a new "Renewal
collaring" feature to allow premiums to be floored/capped at renewal
based on insurer. This collaring factor is then automatically re-applied
to any subsequent MTAs. A guide for this feature will be available in the
next few days on the CFS support site. If you'd like more information in
advance of this guide please contact daniel@durell.co.uk
- Major
- you can now allow customers
to "lapse" renewals themselves on the results page, along with
user-definable text you can setup the system to allow your customers to
flag a renewal as "do not renew", reducing operational overhead.
For more information on how this system works please contact olaf@durell.co.uk
- Major
- the filter on the renewal
dashboard has been given an overhaul by merging the event type options
into a single value. This new option allows you to quickly see only
declines, or only lapses, etc. (whereas previously these could only be
hidden) and the new value works equally with CFS overlaid renewal quotes.
Please note - to continue to see declines, etc. you will need to update
your renewal filter to include these in the "Stages" option.
- It's now possible to change the
lead as well as adviser for quotes on the admin dashboard, and the option
is now always visible, even after purchase.
- The privilege system has
been improved for question sets with better definition of visible vs.
editable rights.
- Labels for locked fields are
now rendered better to indicate the state of the field.
- The widgets on the renewal
dashboard for Income & Total now respect any renaming given by the
profile.
- You can now define help text to
be visible alongside a feature header in the insurer panel results screen.
- Cancellations no longer fail
when claims have been made & no refund is given.
- Insurer fee ARF is now
correctly rebased at MTA.
- The insurer fee £ is now
displayed separately to the client in the premium box on the results page.
- The ARF for insurer fee and
broker fee now includes an optional min. value allowing these ARF values
to be floored to 0 when overriden.
- The insurer list for Close
Premium Finance has been updated.
- Added new mail merge field for
quote documents - InceptionDate.
- Addons that are no longer
present in the calculated premium matrix are now automatically de-selected
during bulk operations, previously they were only de-selected when the
results page was loaded.
You will see these new changes available on the live site from around 1PM. If
you host CFS on your own AWS instance changes will be active a little later, in
line with usual release timeframes. Should you wish to not receive the update
for your instance please notify us before 12pm.
Regards,
The CFS Team
